TYCOON Facilitator Certification FAQ

The TYCOON® Facilitator Certification Program is designed to equip professionals with the skills and resources necessary to effectively facilitate the TYCOON® business simulation. This immersive training enhances leadership development, decision-making, and team-building capabilities within organizations.

This program is ideal for:

• HR and Learning & Development Professionals: Looking to incorporate experiential learning into their training repertoire.

• Corporate Trainers and Coaches: Aiming to offer innovative leadership development tools.

• Educators and Academics: Interested in applying practical business simulations in their curriculum.

• Team Leaders and Managers: Seeking to foster entrepreneurial thinking and strategic decision-making within their teams.

While prior facilitation experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We offer both in-person and online workshops. For the online training, participants are required to have relevant industry experience and foundational facilitation knowledge.

Each certification level offers a comprehensive package:

• Foundation Level 1:

  • 6-hour training workshop (in-person or online)

  • TYCOON® Board Game Set

  • 10 credits for the TYCOON® Application

  • Facilitator Guide and Training Materials

  • Two-year membership to the TYCOON® Discussion Forum

  • Complimentary rental of additional game sets for larger workshops

• Advanced Level 2:

  • All benefits of Level 1

  • Additional 5 credits (total of 15) for the TYCOON® Application

  • Advanced facilitation techniques training

  • Eligibility for job appointments to facilitate TYCOON® workshops

No, the TYCOON® Board Game Set is exclusively available to certified facilitators. This ensures that all sessions are conducted by individuals who have undergone our comprehensive training, maintaining the quality and integrity of the TYCOON® experience.

• In-Person Workshops: For each level, typically conducted over a full day (6 hours) with a group size of 6-12 participants to ensure interactive learning and ample practice opportunities.

• Online Workshops: Designed to be equally engaging, these sessions are held over 6 hours with a smaller group of 4-6 participants to facilitate effective virtual interaction.

Training sessions are delivered in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin, depending on the participants' preferences. All training materials are provided in English.

• Participants in Hong Kong: Materials are provided during the workshop.

• Participants through Global Partners: Materials are arranged by the respective partner.

• Participants in Other Regions: Materials will be shipped from Hong Kong.

Upon successful completion of the program and full attendance, participants receive a certificate issued by Justwork Hong Kong Limited. This certification authorizes you to facilitate TYCOON® workshops and access exclusive resources and opportunities within the TYCOON® community.

Yes, certified facilitators receive a membership to the TYCOON® community, providing access to a community of peers, ongoing support, and additional resources.
